Rooxies ("we", "us", "our") operates rooxies.com. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including:
- Name, email address, shipping address when you place an order
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card details)
- Messages you send via our contact form
We also automatically collect basic analytics data such as browser type, pages visited, and IP address.
How We Use Your Information
- To process and fulfill your orders
- To communicate with you about your order or enquiry
- To improve our website and services
- To comply with legal obligations
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted third-party services necessary to operate our business, including:
- Stripe (payment processing)
- Supabase (data storage)
- Google Analytics (aggregate website analytics)
- Meta / Facebook (advertising measurement via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API)
- Microsoft Clarity (session-level usability analytics — see below)
- Klaviyo (email marketing, only if you opt in)
- Shipping providers (to deliver your order)
We may provide your email address and/or mobile number to Australia Post and other shipping providers where required to fulfil and deliver your order, including for tracking updates, delivery notifications, and parcel collection communications.
Session Recording & Behavioural Analytics (Microsoft Clarity)
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our website so we can improve the experience. Clarity captures the following information about your visit:
- Page views, clicks, scrolls, mouse movements and touch gestures
- Browser, device type, operating system, screen size, country/region (derived from IP, not stored as a precise IP)
- Anonymised session recordings showing the interactions above as a replay of the page you saw
- Heatmaps and aggregated behaviour metrics (e.g. where users click most, where pages are abandoned)
To protect your privacy, Clarity is configured to mask all form input fields by default — including names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers and payment details. Masked content appears as obscured blocks in any replay; it is never transmitted or stored.
Clarity does not capture data on the Stripe-hosted payment pages where you enter card details — that flow is hosted by Stripe and falls under Stripe's privacy policy.
Data is retained by Microsoft Clarity for a limited period (typically up to 13 months) and is used in aggregate to improve site usability. We do not use Clarity recordings to identify individual users. For more detail on how Microsoft handles this data, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
If you would prefer not to be included in session recordings, you can opt out by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser, by using your browser's Do Not Track setting, or by emailing hello@rooxies.com with the date and approximate time of your visit so we can request deletion.
Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.

We use essential cookies to operate our store (e.g., cart functionality). We may also use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our site.
